The SCERC provides opportunities for students to participate in occupational health-related outreach activities with local unions and worker centers.

Students, faculty, and staff from all of the SCERC's academic programs at UCLA and UCI convene on a quarterly basis for interdisciplinary events.

The Targeted Research Training (TRT) Program provides support for collaborative research training with affiliated graduate programs to train OSH researchers who are not part of an academic SCERC program.
