What Accreditation is available?
Depending on the curriculum, most courses are eligible for one or more of the following. Please see the webpage for accreditation for each specific course. List of Courses.
BCSP (Board of Certified Safety Professionals)
Continuance of Certification (COC) points – 1 hour = 0.1 points
BRN (Board of Registered Nursing)
Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #17741 (SCERC).
REHS (Registered Environmental Health Specialist)
The Southern California Education and Research Center is an Accrediting Agency for REHS continuing education, approved by the California Department of Public Health.
Generic CEUs
1 hour = 0.1 points
CME (Continuing Medical Education)
The Southern California Education and Research Center is accredited by the Institute for Medical Quality/California Medical Association (IMQ/CMA) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. This may apply only to a limited number of courses.
Participants must attend at least 90% of the time to receive credit. In some cases, they must also pass an exam at the end of the course.
